What a beautiful, crisp, well balanced shot! I also love the pictures of the little PETALS shop you visited!

What a beautiful dahlia. I love them but can't seem to grow them in my garden. Sara from farmingfriends

Oooh, pretty. I don't recall ever seeing a dahlia in person -- what do they smell like?

Your dahlia picture - phenomenal exposure as well as composition - has taken the place of my beloved Renault 16TX at my desktop and I don't regret it!

Chigiy - I can't find an email address for you so I thought I would post a comment. It's been many years, but I still have very fond memories of our fun times together. Your blog is fantastic. Congratulations.

Here we go again! I know I posted a comment before--this is the second time this has happened!
Anyway, a gorgeous photo. When I was in the Santa Cruz area several years ago, they were having a Dahlia competition in a mall. First time I ever saw a dahlia. I soon learned they won't grow here because of the heat and alkaline soil. I miss out on a lot of beautiful flowers here. You are lucky!

Julie,
I tried to leave a comment on your blog but you are set up only to receive only blogger:(
Sara,
You might have to dig dahlias up over the winter. Does it snow there?
Nikki,
Thank you.

Genie,
Thank you.
Heather,
As far as I know Dahlias aren't know for their scent.

Pieter,
How wonderful to have you stop by my blog. It has been such a long time. I think I rode in that Renault. I will send you a better quality picture of the Dahlias.
Lisa,
I can't believe it. I haven't seen you in something like 16 years. I bet you are still gorgeous. Thanks for visiting.
Aiyana,
I love your name BTW,
I don't know what is going on with the comments. I am not very techy but I will have my husband look at it.

Indeed, we shared some smooth rides in that car. Traffic Jam in Amsterdam, searching for a dike to have a picknick and a nice view at the sea, ending hungry at a dike behind a dike... no sea but at least food. Nice to meet again. Looking forward to the dahlias. Hope my mail has arrived.
