Very pretty! This is a plant which grows very well here, everyone in my neighborhood has it and I keep forgetting to plant them!

I swear I commented on your Penstemon photo--but since I don't see my post, I'll do it again. They are gorgeous. Ours were gone by May 1, but will come back in late January. I should have quite a crop as they've spread all over my garden.

I love Penstemon. My deep purple one is back in bloom. I've just heard a woodpecker for the first time this year. (just had to share that with somebody besides the dog!!)
