It’s Gardener Bloggers Bloom Day. Well it was, yesterday anyway because it’s the 16th and I was suppose to get this done on the 15th.
It’s been unusually cold outside for the last couple of days.
I’ve made it clear on several occasions that I don’t like the cold.
So I ran around my yard as fast as I could, snapping photos so I could run back in the house and warm up my fingers. I will spare you the fuzzy photos and just show you the ones that came out. Two. Yes only two came out.
Here they are.
Thank you Carol of May Dreams Gardens for starting this monthly tradition.
Things that are in bloom:
Azalea
Bacopa
Calendula
Camellia
Fuchsia
Primrose
Salvia (hot lips)
Some sort of purple vine

Chigiy, I didn't know you didn't like the cold. I thought you were late for Garden Bloggers' Bloom Day because of that 50 year storm. I've been enjoying those posts.
I hope it warms up for you.

We were at the freezing mark this morning in Austin and the local NPR host has been playing songs with 'cold' in them - heard about 5 versions of "Long Black Veil" with its 'cold, dark night' so far...thought you'd like to know that, Chigiy, as you struggle to stay warm!
Your two photos are nice - maybe this year I'll try to find the new favorite Salvia 'Hot Lips'.

I'm with you on the cold... which is why I have only gone outside once in the past few days. THere wouldn't be anything to photograph anyway besides snowand snow-covered trees and pawprints in snow and dead flowers under snow and just more and more snow.
At least you have flowers blooming in your garden. The Primroses are a pretty colour!
