Gardener Blogger's Bloom Day, May 15, 2008
I love this time of year.
It’s May, it’s May; the lusty month of May.
O.K., who knows what movie and what song those lyrics are from?
As usual I am not listing plant names.
I just took pictures and boy, are my fingers tired.
Sheesh, half the pictures I took were out of focus and I didn’t get half the fleurs in my jardin, but here they are.
There are so many of them.
Carol of May Dreams Gardens is the genius behind Gardener’s Bloggers’ Bloom Day.

Columbine gone wild? How about Chigiy has gone wild with her garden. It looks very full and lush in May, flowers every where you look.
Thanks for such great pictures on bloom day.

I want your columbines! :) I don't think they grow here for us. :( What is that variegated plant? It is cool!

So pretty! I have most of my veggies planted, but no flowers are blooming yet.

Wow, what beautiful garden blooms! I enjoyed every single picture. I'd love to have a garden that established.

The sheet music for Camelot usually lies open on the piano each May, because I like to to play that song and love the sly humor of the words. I try to sound like Julie Andrews but can't even manage Vanessa Redgrave.
Now, Chigiy - there are too many flowers here, just like there were too many notes for the Emperor in Amadeus.
What a symphony of columbines, roses, nasturtium, abutilon, geraniums and Bleeding heart you've made! Is that a thyme pouring purple on the steps? And oh my goodness... can the last photo be 'Hot Lips' salvia gone to California?
Happy Blooming Day,
