Dog sitting and gardening.

What do they have in common?

Nothing.

I was dog sitting my friend’s dog and I was gardening at the same time today.

It had been a long time since I spent any time outside gardening for two reasons:

1. My son’s play.
2. It has been raining and raining and raining so much that I was spending way more time making sketches of ark designs than gardens.

Today the sun came out. The temperature rose to about 67 degrees and I started to clean up my garden after the winter deluge.

My friend’s dog had a great time, lying on my discarded sweatshirt and basking in the elusive sun.

Tomorrow there will be more gardening and dog sitting.

My husband told me that this article needed an ending. I told him that gardening never ends.

So true, gardening never does end. Sadie is positively gleaming in the sunshine. I see flowers! You can't imagine how happy this makes me. There's no snow there (even though I know endless days of rain are irritating, at least it isn't snow!)

Hi Kate!
Long time no talkie.
When it rains, I remind myself that we are still in the middle of a three year drought and I try to love the rain. It make the sun all the more glorious. Sadie had a great day playing with my dog and basking. Nice to hear from you. I will visit soon.
